Hi Day, and thank you!! We love her SO VERY, VERY MUCH!!! Thank you for the ear compliment .... she does have a nice crop .... and my husband has been SO FASTIDIOUS at keeping them properly posted .... he said to me yesterday when we unposted her that it looks like we need just about another week of posting, and then we should be done .... she has such a long crop that its taken a wee bit longer than Rex's did .... she also has a bit more "ear" than he does .....

Cathy: She looks terrific!! and her ears look different than Baba's... his are more arched, as I did not and do not tape the tips.... I will photograph him in a stack at 6 months so we can compare! She is so pretty and her legs are longer than Baba's too I think or perhaps he is just so much thicker than she is!! Have you wieghed her? I am weighing Baba on Thursday right at 6 months... He is such a tank but he is so agile and so nimble for such a bruiser... he is not 'heavy' at all, just thick... but his legs are shorter and I do not think he is going to be much over around 27-28" tall... I have a feeling he is going to be just a tad bit taller than Gem... Gem is right at 26" when she is around 84-85 lbs... at 90 lbs she is heavier so she is thicker from side to side and from top shoulder to elbow.. Baba has such massive bone... and his feet are just Ginormous! Lily is going to do well in the shows I can see it now... she has enough elegance to do just fine in AKC show... Gemma did not have that.. she is very "Doggy"... I personally like that, but most Judges and fanciers do not... I love a "Doggy bitch", but its not widely preferred! Love that Lilly to bits! she looks just fabulous... I only wish we could let the two of these guys play!! sucks that you guys are so far away!! :PP

Thank you Tina ..... yes, she sure is Babba's sister .... they look so alike!! Nope they don't or i don't think they do, thats why i as making sure she is his sister. The are the complete oposite in my opinion She looks very nice agil and female, BAbaa is suge a little tank and like Diva said his legs are shorter and looks more bulkier then Lilly does I think she will do great in shows

Your puppy is looking very nice, her coat looks extremely healthy and her eyes a dark but have a bright expression. Hopefully she doesn't get jowly like some Euro bitches do they loose their feminity and become male looking. She has a good bottom jaw and if her lips stay tight she'll maintain a very clean look. I have to agree with Tina this puppy is much more balanced and is holding together much better than her litter mate. The male pup is high in the hip bone and sagging on the top line with posture thats very poor. Hopefully its part of his growing stages and can develop out of that posture. Her ears look good and keep the tips taped down to the posts or they'll fold and offer a very weak look. If you've seen some of the pics of many Euro dogs with tips falling in and even out because the breeders lack the knowledge of how cartiage is formed and when its formed. Her rear is suffient for now and with abit more layback in her shoulders she can really hold together well. 'Be aware of the slightest pocket in the left ear, atleast the pics look that way without a clear pic IN the ear. Next time you take pics I'd like to see a shot from the rear, ground level with her standing nicely. Continued good work and health too. Von.

Cathy -
Lilly is looking like a very balanced pup - some pups grow evenly and some don't they grow long then tall, grow the front then the back - as long as they end up even and balanced it all good - she is growing well and is in good weight.
Her head is just lovely and her neck is the proper length, and well set on her shoulder with a good base and connection -
Its been a lot of fun watching her and Saava grow up - they are definitely growing differently and they are carrying their weight differently as well - I think she is an excellent example of the euro type that I prefer.
I agree the head shots are stunning - thank the photographer!

Thank you so much for all your advice, compliments and encouragement!! I so appreciate it - it makes my heart feel really good .... we tried putting Lilly in a B Match in Huntsville yesterday, sadly it got cancelled because the presenting kennel club didn't have anyone to run it, so our drive up there was quite fruitless, as I'd really have liked ring time for her. However it wasn't totally for nought, as she got to do a lot of socializing and was quite ralaxed by the time we got to leave last evening - we waited for non-sporting group as we wanted to cheer for our KC President and his Dal. This was her very first visit to a show .... so I know she was very overwhelmed in the beginning but it didn't take her long to "settle in"

ahhhhhh - what a disappointment to not have the match go off - but like you said - you still got to have her experience the show atmosphere and do some meets and greets - so she got the benefit of "show ring exposure" without you having to pay for the privalege !!

;D - True Gail .... it also allowed me to work with our current problem .... her snapping and growling at other dogs, kids and strange objects. I kept her on a short leash, and whenver another dog would approach (and there were many), I'd tell her to leave it and praise her when she responded in the correct manner ..... Sadly when my husband has her, he stands and looks around in "another world" and lets her get away with murder .... That is why it is so important that all owners are on the same page where correction is concerned .... Unfortunately it doesn't work that way in this establishment ...... My husband STILL hasn't learned that you can't be passive with a proper working Doberman .... or it'll dominate you in a heartbeat, and it keeps on being left up to me to do all the correction and we can't achieve exactly what is needed because not everyone is on the same page
