He has Chroma-key. He uses a green screen (like they use for dance videos and even the weather). Put the dog in front of the green screen, take the picture, and you can put any background behind it. The green itself disappears. The pics of Hawk are obviously not done that way! LOL Although, someone did make a great pic of Hawk that came out great!!! I'll have to find it and put it in my PB.
