Gemma I listened to it twice to make sure I caught it - First he said he had been in newfies 20 years and he and his partner joined up and she was in it a long time before then. He went on to say at least 4 or 5 years which does not add up to 30. I am just trying to clarify what I heard.
And if they had a real successful program they should be able to give examples beyond one dog living to 17 that they owned and bred at apparently 13 years of age. I would like to know HOW many puppies were born out of that late a breeding and how many are still alive 4 years later like Gracie. They certainly failed to bring that up.
But what really got me was their use of the term GUARDIANS which is right out of the PETA/HSUS playbook.
Since you highly recommend this program is it what you are planning on following??
I would also like to know if you read Bitten's thread where He specifically mentioned the Pride of Russia kennel among those breeding dogs way too big??? What was your take on that thread or that comment.
