A link to this article was sent to me earlier today by a friend of mine.
This is another interesting article in the war against over immunization .... but has anything ever been done about it .... has anyone ever had the balls to challenge the Gods of Vetinary medicine about this, and say NO ENOUGH IS ENOUGH??? Once again the mighty $$$$ is the 800lb gorilla that comes out on top - Look I'm not opposed to immunization - heaven forbid any of my animals were to die from some deadly disease that could have been prevented by immunization - however lets be fair - why put unnecessary stress on the animal's body by continuing to give it shot after shot after shot!!!!!

Ive done something about it. I dont vaccinate my dogs unless its required by law. Every single person has the power to do something about it. "JUST SAY NO" They can NOT force you to vaccinate your animal. Even if required by law, they cant force you. They can try to lay a quilt trip on you etc......But its up to YOU to speak for your pet. Since they cant speak for themselves.
The more people that stand up to their vet, the more they will listen. Might take another year or 2, but they will learn because it will hit their bottom line. Instead of missing out on that $17 vaccine charge, they will miss the $40 office call, the eye exam, the medication, BECAUSE you went somewhere else that was up to date on the newest information being released. They will miss all of that based on $17, they will eventually learn after it hits their pocket book.

I agree and I do the same and encourage all who also do not trust this 'vaccination obsession' that goes on in this country. Just say "NO, thank you"! You know Andy, I agree with you .... I have also taken my stance against my vet who incidently is only interested in talking to people about : Annnual shots, flu shots (huh???) and spaying/neutering .... and yes the tricle down effect will eventually work ..... while the average Joe who hasn't done the research out there or doesn't know how gets forced or guilted into having their animal immunized on a yearly basis. WHERE are those big mouthed AR groups when you really need them .... they are always begging for money, but you NEVER, EVER, EVER hear from them in situations like these .... and you know the reason??? Its that darn 800lb gorilla that keeps geting in the way ..... its always ALL ABOUT the money!!!
