The boy is growing like the proverbial weed! He is 66.5 lbs and 22+" tall... what a sweet pea he is too... just as gentle and as sweet and loving as he can be!

Cathy: we just un posted about 4-5 days ago and his ears look great.. but he is almost done teething, so he could need another week or two.. but right now they look great, stand all day and no tipping over... I am prepared to repost but I am using the glue and the foam pipe insulation cut in half like 'EzEarz" method... its easier and the tape is just so annoying. The ez earz method just glues the piece of pipe foam in cut into the shape of the ear. The glue lasts from 2-5 days depending on how much Gemma messes with them. Its quicker and easier and no tape is my preference!

Thank You bree and T: I just marvel at his temperament more than anything else. Even if he were just an ugly boy, I would not complain, because his temperament is STELLAR! He is just the most amazing boy... He and Gemma are like light and dark and yin and yang! She is such the busy bee, so annoying, must be in your face, licking you feverishly, jumps up on you, pushes you with her feet and nose, simply cannot just lay down and sit still. She cannot have you pet Saava for one second without her getting in the middle, she cannot just come up and lay down next to you and be still. She just GOES like the energizer bunny on crack.... Baba is the exact opposite. No licking, NO nudging you, NO annoying you with jumping on you, no trying to jump up, just lays down next to you, will come over and sit by you and if you pet him, he is content to have what you give and not just pester the shit out of you for more... LOL! I LOVE LOVE LOVE My Gemma Rose to bits, but Baba is by far the more pleasant Doberman to be around as he is just there and so calm.... Gem and he are a Yin Yang symbol for sure!

Diva, Lilly's ears are also standing perfectly .... she is also using the muscles in her head to control the ears - sometimes they look like 2 radar bowls as she turns them when she's unposted .... we saw her lifting the posted ears the other day, and that is our indication that she is almost ready to be released from the "ear helmet" .... although we've kinda decided to persevere till 6mo's, and then stop - and yes she is also about done teething ..... she has really been the easiest of puppies to raise - she has trained SO EASILY and is WAY AHEAD of the program than what Rex was at this age. He was just so difficult and at times obnoxious - and the constant licking, biting, climbing on us and barking in our faces just about drove us crazy .... and can still be that way, although bless his heart we also didn't know how to work with him when he was her age. She on the other hand has been so much calmer, although she's quite a little spitfire and jumps on Rex and will bite his ears or lips, and to give him credit, he allows it .... he still hasn't done the "come to Jesus speech" on her yet, and I suspect he'll probably do it in a month or so when he no longer regards her as a puppy .... he can be really patient with her at times, and we still have to keep them seperated, because now that he's has accepted her and wants to socialize, she has got a lot bigger and as a young dog wants to play all the time, and it gets very rough ..... looking forward when they've both calmed down to where we can live a calm and peaceful existance

Hiehie Day, its all going to depend on how accepting your older dog is of the puppy ..... you may be very nicely surprised .... for us its been quite a ride sofar - and something we never expected ... We thought they'd be mates .... instead its been quite challenging for us and still is .... trusting they'll start accepting each other in the next couple of months!!

We thought they'd be mates .... instead its been quite challenging for us and still is .... trusting they'll start accepting each other in the next couple of months!! We still have 'issues' here with Gemma and Baba too... She is a bitch... just a mean and nasty bitch for no reason or what seems like absolutely no reason other than to be a Bitch! He has scars on him all over the place. His chest, neck, shoulders, face, I mean it... She tears into him mercilessly at least two or three times a day. I have to get on her about it often and now I just separate them for a few hours during the day when I am home, I keep Baba inside with me or I keep Gemma in the living room and him with me. He just does not seem to care! He just loves her no matter how wicked she is! He yelps and cries when she nails him, but a split second later he is back getting a toy or trying to tease her with one, or chasing her and barking at her to play with him. He takes a licking and keeps on ticking.. we should change his name to 'TIMEX"!
