Elli, no problem, send them over here and Sharon, Logan gets his clipped outside and Joe didn't took no pic's when i did Logans nails, but he will just sit there and let me do his nails too, they all know very well, if i wanna get the nails done, it will happens, so they just let me do it and get over with it LOL

Lilly lies as well for me as Aesa does for you .... but Rex .... welll that is a whole other story .... We have to put him on the choke chain and leash ... and only then will he kinda allow us to do the nails .... Sometimes I just decide to take him to PetSmart for them to do it, and I still end up putting the chain and leash on him and helping the lady out .... with him its definitely a 2 person affair ....

Well I also sit on the floor with them like Tina but their head is near my feet and all four of their feet are up in the air. It takes me longer than 10 minutes cause I have twice as many dogs but no more than 5 minutes per dog.

Yea, sure... IF ONLY, it were that easy! problem here is that once you have nicked that quick a couple times? when you first start out....its ok... but when they start to fidget and start to jerk their foot back and there is NO WAY IN HEAVEN that Gemma rose would lay still like that for a pedicure!! its a fight every time, even though there has been massive amounts of treats given from way early on at 4 months.. she hates the dremel, she hates the noise and I have nicked her probably 5-6 times in the past 16 months and she never forgets it!

I never ever nicked once the quick with a dremmel, the first dog and the last so far in my life was logan once with the clipper, but that was it so far.

I thought the dremel was supposed to be "nick" proof ..... I'm not great at it, but I've never nicked either of mine ... even Rex who won't sit still almost for a moment .... and we have to be 2 doing the operation!!!

And like i said never nicked them once.

My issue, is I have hand strength and pain problems...sometimes it's really hard for me to use the guillotine type trimmers....I don't have to much issue using using a dremmel though...however...getting up off the floor can be a problem lol

I use clippers to take the tip off and then I dremel to shorten and blunt... but It has over heated on her nail before because early one I would leave it on too long at one time. I did not realize how quickly it heats up! so I have 'nicked' her with clippers and also over heated the nail... only 2 or 3 times early on, but she never forgets... I do not do them more frequently than once a month or maybe twice. I need to do it more often, but its such a pain every time, I just dread it and so does she!
