Now that enough of you have had a chance to see the kind of research and testing that Bitten is involved in, would you be willing to attend a seminar here with her? I tried to get this together before, but, was very disappointed in the lack of interest in the vast knowledge she is willing to share about our beloved breed. If we can get enough interest, I am still willing to get a schedule set up and bring Bitten here, to FL, for a 2-3 day Seminar to go over all of these latest developments we've been reading about! It would also give us all a chance to go over these new tests being performed in the UK as well! Please, let me know via PM or email, if you would truly be willing to attend a seminar of this magnitude.

Love the webinar idea. The problem is not the lack of interest but the travel and time involved to go that far. It is not feasible for everyone. I owuld also recommend putting the webinar on DVD if it could not be replayed and watched and sell it.

Suzan, that may have to be the option we go with. I am just afraid that via webinar, most would not fully comprehend her accent, although her English is better than alot of Americans I know! LOL I will take any and all idea we can come up with here. It would be nice if we could do an actual HANDS-ON seminar with her here and record it. Again, something to consider and discuss with her when she has the time......

Dede,
I agree with a webinar - that is the only thing that is now feasable for me - the cost of leaving home becomes prohibitive with needing an "experienced, knowledgeable, dog sitter" and air fair - I could afford several hundred dollars for a 2 day webinar.
I would love to just visit and chat with Bitten and soak up her knowledge like a sponge - but with the planned outing for a DS Forum get together I can only afford to do one trip next year.
I have fallen in love with UStream - and it has a very good chat feature too that we could ask questions. Even if you get the interest in those that can physically attend - I hope you would consider broadcasting her talks on UStream

I think you would have quite a number of people who would sign up for a Webinar, if it were posted on numerous forum's and Facebook well in advance. There are many Webinar programs out there.. the link I sent you was from a Webinar company that I just was a part of a webinar with and it was outstanding... great sound, a Power point presentation and also Q&A at the end... it was free... but a Webinar with Bitten would be worth paying for... and she would not have to travel either! which is better for everyone. It seems that Webinars are the wave of the future. saves time, money and energy for everyone and who would not want to sit with a glass of wine, or an other 'thing' they partake of and watch and participate from the comfort of their own computer and jammies? I ask ya?
