tomorrow i am helping a rescue to transport a doberman.
I have met the dobe and she is really friendly and laid back.
I am only taking her part of the way and meeting the rescue founder about an hour and a half away. Is there anything you can think of that i may need to take.
thanks

OK, these are my suggestions. If she is not riding in a crate, a harness with a secure leash. In case of an accident...heavens forbid she won't fly through the car and possible window. But this also keeps you safe while driving so the dog is not wandering about. A bowl and water even though it is a short distance things can happen...again what if you should break down, one never knows. Paper towels or just towels and plastic bags in case she should get carsick. Again some type of ID on her again in the case of an accident. If you have been feeding her take some food so that it will be easy on her to transistion to another food if needed. Maybe some type of chew bone/toy to keep her occupied. I also have treats in my pocket to share with the person I'm meeting so that they may offer her one when they first meet. Last but not least don't forget the paper work/tags...health certificate etc. I think that's about it but if I think of more or others have more will add later.
