AWESOME research involved. Sad that this article will 'upset' more breeders than it teaches... I, for one, am thankful for some information that just confirms my suspicions for so many years! Bitten, thank you ever so much for sharing this information with the rest of the dobermann world! Let's hope that SOME at least will pay attention and LEARN from it!

Bitten, the message is surely there to be seen, if the breeders will pay attention to it - and if the buyers will believe it.
The popular sire syndrome and a disproportionate amount of the gene pool all using the "hottest" dog of the day - has come home to roost in the forum of DCM.
Great research and interpreting the numbers.
I still can't read some of the names - and that one graph depicting the sires and the number of DCM cases amongst their progeny I would like to be be able to see better - any way that graph could be emailed to me?

Gail ... I will go through the material I have, there might be larger graphics. Strangely enough, I do not have your problem when viewing the article - but as said, let me go trhough the files I have personally.
