I have pretty much the same thing but in the travel bag I have included gloves. Not so much for me but to try and keep the wound as clean as possible to decrease chances of infection. I have also included children's gravol in my travel pack...just in case.
One word of caution though: ASPIRIN is NEVER to be used on dogs. They do not break it down like we do and can have drastic results.

Hmmm really?? I always heard aspirin was the only "human" pain reliever you can give dogs. Learn something new everyday!

Any kind of pain reliever should be ok'd by vet before giving. I'd rather err on the side of caution than make an already bad situation worse. Just my opinion of course.

I've got prescription pain meds for the dog from an injury so.... i keep a few in the medical kit " just in case of emergency" But seeing how I have them left over from an injury she had, tells ya how much I like to give them too her. But I also like to have the option of being able to give my dog something in extreme cases.

I also have in my bigger medical kit. Ambesol to numb gums. Also, for any medicine, like pain meds and Benedryl, I have a written note taped inside the med kit AND on the medicine itself for the correct dosage for the size of animal etc etc.
