I've read all four of these posts and It looks just like gun control.

Create a crisis.
Define the evil component.
Vilify.
Enact new legislation.
Register the offending article.
Impose fees and fines.
Ban.
Confiscate.

Yep! Just like gun control.

You are so right - John Q Public just follows the crowd and does not do any research and votes for these laws not realizing that one little paragraph buried down in the language that strips you of your right to deny access to your property to anyone who does not have a valid warrant - that takes away your right to being presumed innocent, and protects your seized property until the "charges" are decided upon.

People are giving away their personal rights and freedoms way too easily IMHO - and that includes the right to bear arms!
