For those wanting to use elevated feed/water bowls. Here is a suggestion that will save you money. Go purchase a plant stand (this one came from Home Depot) it was about $20.00. It is 16" high and comes with a plastic liner that is easy to pop out and clean. I cut a piece of non-skid shelf liner to fit so bowls won't slid around. Since I feed my dogs twice a day it also holds the water bowls the rest of the time. So when they are eating I am refreshing their water to replace after their meals.
BTW the pictures of Gaston & Eden eating were for picture taking purposes only so you could judge/see how high the bowl was to them..........they do not eat outside on my porch.
