I ran into this site and thought there might be others here that would find it interesting. It is 'Balanced Trainers' at: www.balancedtrainers.com/I can really identify with what these folks are saying in light of all the recent problems folks say they are having with their teenage Dobermans. My feeling is that the balanced approach is the only proper way to train a correctly bred Doberman. Check it out and let us know what you think. Thank you to Terry Byrne for finding this site.

Some very interesting info in the blogs. Waiting for forum membership to check into it further, but, I like what I can see thus far.

I read it, nothing special to me. Same old treat training and ofcourse the "proper" use of an E-collar!! Sure your right!!! When I see a pic of a lab on a trainers home page it sends a message to me that we prefer dogs without "character" to train their so "pleasant". Well until you actually meet a person and see how they conduct themselves you never know how to judge them. Right? Von.
