Just try it out UKC is fun and you met a lot of great people and its a nice exposure for the dog, to get to used to lots of dogs and people, no better socializing then to go to a show Love the working pic's too, good job

She looks older than one in the stack pic and her work shots are very nice. Her head looks nice and seems to have even plains, she has depth of jaw and her ear slot is good. Shes a little shallow under the eye but maybe that changes slightly as her head broadens and tendons and muscles become abit more prominent. She has nice length to her neck and a good top line that would look better if her feet were spread just abit more apart and her rear legs were slightlt further back. I think that would take care of the rise from just after the withers to her rear hip. Croup is ok and she would benefit from a little bit more angulation in the rear but not alot. Pasterns look strong and legs do also, can't see her feet so I'll say their "nice"! Shoulder could have more lay back but the days of the great shoulders has been gone along time. She appears balanced even though her front paws look to close to one another. Shes a light in weight but I think shes better off for now at that weight. Her correct weight with all things considered will be there when shes 28 months. She looks alot like the Damasyn/vom Ahrtal combo breedings from the 60s, and her bite pics do too!!! What are her backlines? Von.

Thank you von Cosack for the breakdown! I was hoping someone would do that Halo was born 3/18/11 I think I did place her front feet too close together. And Her back feet could have been an inch or so further back but we're both out of practice at stacking... we will have to work on that before we try a show arena! Halo's pedigree: www.pedigreedatabase.com/doberman_pinscher/dog.html?id=1209212 Nice on top, scattered and nondescript on bottom. Couple more pics! She was only about 4 months old here, but you can see she has decent feet

Don't hold her tail so high, it is supposed to appear to be a continuation of the spine, so... say 2:00, not high noon (easies way describe it).
I wouldn't pull her back feet too far back, otherwise her hocks won't be straight. She is a little shallow in brisket (brisket should have the depth to meet the elbow), but she is only 12mo.
Heck yeah, I'd show her!

Well her ability for work is pretty clear by her sires side, for sure some nice dogs there. I would try to look into the dams side because after a few non discript generations you might be surprised and find some engaging dogs there. I took a peak at Dobequest for her dams side and theres no data on them but they were registered it seems so I'd try and find as much as I could. Contact the breeder and ask them to lend a hand. Von.

Yea I don't think her breeder is going to be much help lol. She had a "XL Euro Dobie" and bred her to another "XL Euro Dobie" to make puppies she could sell... her dam is about 85 lbs, her sire is 115... slightly oversized but she is well within the standard, currently 60 lbs and should top around 70-75. I wish I was able to track her lineage on her dam's side a little farther back, there's one dog, R Buell von Whitedheim, that was owned or bred by Bill Whited, I emailed him but got no response.

From what I know of him he won't help much but if theres any stock that came from him its most like Alba or Alva the dog might still be on his site. This was a large Brown male that seemed to wing up with multiple ownerships!! This guy put a worse wrap on training centers then they already had!! Go on Whiting or Whited Dog Training, theres a chance that the dog I mentioned is still advertized there even though he's long gone as far as I remember. His pedigree was displayed and was an import. Alba or Alva I forget which. Von
