VETO HB 1451 : Texas

This morning while drinking my coffee and planning my day, I was thinking about how far we have come with our TEAM of pure bred dog owners and mixed breed dog owners working together to protect our right to own our dogs and care for them the way we have always done! It is gratifying to know that we are indeed on our way by creating a powerful team to be contended with!

We still have a long way to go, right now there is a major crisis in Texas where the pet elimination bill is sitting on Governor Rick Perry’s desk waiting for him to do the right thing…VETO HB1451! Yes, this is the same Rick Perry who tossed his hat into the ring for the presidential race! It is imperative that Team Dog Owners keep the pressure on him to do what is right for our dogs, and let him know that not only are the Eyes of Texas on him; but now the eyes of the entire dog population of the USA are on him!!!

This is the contact information for Perry, pass it on but if we all make 1 phone call or fax 1 letter simply stating that he VETO HB 1451 and that now dog owners across the USA have their eyes on him, and we vote!! These calls and letters must be sent today!!


We have done a good job so far but we MUST convince Perry to VETO this bill.
