Did you have a training goal for 2011? Did you reach your goals?
What about accomplishments?
Big and small, share them all!

Well we had goals but did not reach them all. I limited travel when gas was so expensive - what used to cost me $40.00 dollars to fill up is not 70 that hurts - Shorck got his CD and is now working for his CDX. Gunner got 2 legs of his CDX we are waiting for a close show to finish him.
Rayna got her Into CH and 2 BOB and Helio started his career off with a bang Intl /Natl CH with a BOB and Group 2
We are now working on goals for 2012 - finish Gunner's CDX, get Shrock's CDX and WAC Get Helio's obedience ready and show him at UDC Natls in conformation this year. Will show Shrock also at UDC Natls.

MY goal was to get Aesa her BH this year, but we moved it to early next year spring, since our club don't has a trial this year and I'm going to get her CH title in conformation this year, no matter what it cost me hehehehe. Beside that, no more goals so far or i should say not yet.
One question Suzan, how old is Helio?

My goals for 2011 and 2012
2011 - Jazmine RN and BN we achieved the RN and 2 leg on the BN and they she had puppies so we did not get-r-done before the pups come
2012 - Jazmine get that last leg for BN, Get RA & maybe CD
2011 -Lestat CGC, RN & RA - also IABCA & UKC CH Lestat is on track for UR01 and hopeuflly URO2 which is UKC equivalent to AKC RN and RA. I missed IABCA here in VA so we will have to wait til Jan to hit that competition. Lestat has 1 UKC competitio win and needs 2 more for his championship.
2012 - Lestat IABCA competition, finish UKC Championship. Upon return to VA I willhopefully physically be able to put his AKC RN & RA, as well as CD Would love to send him back to Aunty DeDe for BH - lol
2011 - Raven CGC, RN - Elvis never left the building - my sweet Raven is my Red Headed Step child - when you have a lot of dogs there is one that you alway seem to skip over - and thats her - we have not done a darn thing lol - and don't have any real plans to either -
2012 - Raven - its on the list for this poor chile to get at least her CGC lol
2012 - Dream - CGC - TDI and RN - If she continues to train so easily as she is now - this should be doable.
Goals are good -

My goals for 2011 & 2012:
REX 2011: We started out with conformation training and classes in April when Rex was 14 months old. We were team novice handler/novice dog. My first goal was to get us in a show as quickly as possible. Two weeks after we started handlers classes we entered a B-Match at our local Birmingham show. He took WD & BOB and got into the match final but nothing there. 4 weeks further on, we entered out first AKC show in Montgomery AL where he won his class as Novice Dog, but failed to do anything further. All in all we did 7 AKC shows of which he did me 4 WDR - 2x in Grey TN (5/2011) and 2x in Paducah KY (6/2011). On July 23 & 24 we entered 4 IABCA shows in Atlanta GA - he did me WD & BOB X 4, but did nothing in group - (the groups were enormous -and rings had to be consolidated), and got his 4 x V1's - which meant he qualified for Int. Ch. Labour Day weekend we did 8 UKC shows in Perry GA. Out of 8 he did me 5 competition wins, 1 group win, 2 Group 2nd's, 2 group 3rd's and got his UKC Ch.
REX 2012: Complete his IABCA US Ch, Begin his UKC Gr Ch and see how far we get. Possibly start him back up showing in AKC ... Start him Obedience showing in AKC.
LILLY 2011: Lilly arrived from Poland on 8/4/2011 and was already doing conformation and obedience training on the 2nd day we had her. My goal was to get her in a B-Match as soon as possible. We entered her in her first B-Match on 10/1 where she got WB & BOB but did nothing in group. We didn't get to enter the B-Match of 10/9 because she chewed up one of my persian carpets and was in disgrace because of this. The next B-Match we were supposed to enter at Priceville AL on 11/11 got cancelled as the KC hosting the show that Saturday didn't have anyone to run the Match.
LILLY 2012 : First shows - 2/10, 11 & 12 Perry GA - UKC .... starting her UKC Ch, also getting her ringtime experience. Then to start sussing out AKC shows in our area and also looking for judges who will be willing to give my Euro Bitch a look. July - 4 shows IABCA in Atlanta .....
I think for the moment that's about all I can handle .....

Looking back to the beginning of 2011 and what Gael has accomplished for the year I am feeling a bit better about my little 'brat child'.
February - she got her SDA Family Obedience (FO) and Protection Alert (PA) titles, with a Second place.
April - we got her UKC-CD title - with one First and two Second placements.
June - AKC-BN title, Third and Fourth place June - AKC-RN title, Third and Fourth place
November - AKC-CD first leg with a Second place
Hopefully we will get her URO2 at our December UKC Rally trial.
I have made no plans for 2012 yet.

Drive the car!!! I just don't understand how everyone keeps saying this breed is so smart when they can't learn how to drive!! I don't care about downing and staying or jumping over this fence and pick up that thing and track a hot dog and all that stuff. Whose gonna use those learned tasks in everyday life??? Now driving a car IS a normal every day task. I should have stayed with the Danes atleast they could reach the pedals!! Von

I never really thought about it but I guess we had a pretty good year, considering we didn't compete April - Oct. we never stopped training but took a break for Leia to have her litter and recover.
Ranger- Star Puppy- will get tested next Thur.
Jake-CGC
Dex-CGC, RN
Leia- CD - She won all three legs last one with a High in Trial. RA - 2 Wins, one Second RE - 2 legs, Second and a Third CDX- 1 leg, 2nd Place.
Next weekend we have trials Sat. and Sunday, hopefully we will finish her RE, and get another leg on her CDX, if we get another leg of CDX on Sat. I won't try and finish her on Sunday, but I'll wait for Jan. when we are making a Vacation of a three day show in Palm Springs
