so we took cayden to the vet today about what we thought was maybe a lick granuloma on his toe. Anyway it doesnt seem that we are that lucky. the vet was concerned and took 3 biopsys as he thinks it is a tumor. We are hoping benign but cant be sure. We will find out the results on friday. I am not a prayer but anyone that is please pray for my baby. Heres a pic of his foot. It has a dressing on it and we added the sock, the boys felt sorry for him and his bandage. The vet gave us these empty saline bags with ribbon tied round to use as protection from water lol.   |

Oh shoot Lynz, I was hoping that wasnt it. My folks had a lick granuloma and I didnt even wanna mention that when I saw the pics. Was hoping it was just sticker or something.

A lick granuloma is what we were hoping for The poor boy is sitting here all bandaged up feeling very sorry for himself in only the way a dobe could. Not long til Friday though and we should now were to go from there. Hopefully if it is a tumor it is only in the toe and that can be removed if not i am stuck at what to do. I think chemo/radiation is bad enough for a person let alone a dog that doesnt know what is happening to it. |

Lynz,
Prayers for Cayden and for you -what a week huh?
Hope this will help - over the years I have had several puppy buyers and several friends whose dobes got these little tumors on their toes - odd I know - but the good news is that they were all removed and all were benign - everyone of them.
I will certainly pray that the same is true for your Cayden.
