No kidding Wendy. I also shared the poster & info with a local well known very animal friendly radio host that has mass emailed her info out, posted it at the station as well as many other places. I am still a bit confused to where she was actually lost because the rest stop closest to GA is in the Northbound lane of I95. The info said that it could possibly be a little further 'South" near Walterboro, SC. If the person that lost her was traveling North on I 95, Walterboro is North not South. So do we really know exactly where she was lost I'm also still puzzled as to why it took the person 6 days to report to the breeder that she had been lost. Time is critical in cases like these

Fishy if you ask me Lisa .... if this person really cared about her Blue, she would have stayed to find her, and notified anyone and everyone about her going missing and did everything in her power to find her girl ..... Some people really make you wonder!!

The more I read about this missing dog the more it sounds like a missing dog story from Texas ......some things just aren't adding up

Von, I hate the thought but I agree, things are very fishy to me. I've been to these areas looking around and many things just don't add up.

Is anyone in touch directly with this flake or are we just getting 2nd and 3rd or more hand info? Hope dog has been found and is safe and cared for by someone who would make some sort of effort to find/keep their beloved pet.

Beloved Blue Female Lost traveling through South Carolina I was just informed that one of my dogs that was sold recently that I bred was spooked by a truck at a rest area in South Carolina and disappeared into the night. She is a 5 year young Blue female Doberman Pinscher, ears cropped, tails docked, microchipped in my name Lucy Jakubowski and Cindy Raymann (deceased). She was wearing a black studded leather collar and a choke chain and of course being blue has a thin blue charcoal grey coat. Her name is Blue and has lots of obedience AND LISTEN WELL. A WONDERFUL ANIMAL. AVID CHIP 092-768-792 She disappeared into the night last Sunday March 26th last rest area on the South Carolina -Georgia line in South Carolina on Interstae 95, maybe a little south around Walterboro S.C., on interstate 95. The person was not sure of the rest area because she was tired and it was dark. She said she only looked for her for 1/2 hour, then left to go north to New York. So sad, she did not wait till morning to presume looking for BLUE. Please help, I will drive down to pick her up if we find her. If any one knows any rescue groups or spca organizations in that area, please email so I can start my search. Saturday morning I will goggle rescues in S.C area. Tonight I am posting on all Doberman chat rooms. Thank you and pray for Blue. bravedobe@aol.com Lucy Jakubowski 716-557-2452 index __________________ LUCY JAKUBOWSKI WWW.BRAVEHEARTDOBES.COMWas that a typo cause it is only March 10th today. And 6 days later tells breeder? Only looks for 30 minutes? My money is she sold the bitch but doesn't want breeder to know. Any other scenerio does not make a lick of sense. Some folks should never own a cockroach, let alone a deeply loyal dog like the doberman.

I don't like that a bunch of BS is on the forums main page and I think this needs an upgrade as to WHO the original breeders is and why they sold to a person who didn't confide in them for placing their dog? We don't want or need misinformation here, this all sounds like a planted farce to me to cover up a sale? Rather have that senerio then someone cold hearted enough to drive away from their dog for good on a highway. No matter how you cut it if the original breeder knew of this then their all not very good at identifying peoples integrity. Von.

yes Tina they returned a month later and the dog was sitting there waiting for them. A truck back fired when she ran away and then had a litter of 27 and made the remake of the "Dobermann Gang"!! Was a guest on "Magnum PI" as a Bitch in the yard! Tuned into a black when she heard that some Blues have skin and coat problems and changed her name to Velvet! There!! Von
