Gail , this chart your providing is so awesome. I will add new puppy Cosmo/Bruno next week. He comes home Sunday
I posted this some time ago and have not updated it because nothing has changed with them.
Ok here is the chart on Ruby and Jackson as best as I could. Ruby and Jackson come from the same parents 1 litter apart.
Ruby. Born July 8, 2009 Weeks: 11- 16# 14-23# 16-28# 18-35# 20-37# 22-42# 24-48# 6 months 52# 7 months 59# 8 months 63# 9 months 65# 10 months 66# 1 year 66# 28” 13 months 66 14 months 70# 16 months 74# 18 months 75 # 19 months ( on February 8) 77# 28.5”
Jackson born Feb 2, 2010: I misplaced his growth calendar during a recent move so this is all I have for him right now: 7 weeks 10# 4 months 50# 5 months 63# 6 months 72# 7 months 81# 8 months 92# 9 months 100# 10 months 102 # 11 months 104 # 1 year (in a couple of days) 106# 32+ " I know this sounds like a lot to weigh but he is very trim, sleek, and agile.
This chart was recorded a few months back. I will update it soon.

We're taking Lilly for her 14 wk parvo this afternoon, so we'll also get to weigh her .... very interested to see how much the little monster has gained .... but I definitely feel it, when I carry her down stairs in the dark ... did I tell you, she's still affraid of doing a flight of stairs in the dark, and plays this little game with me .... but the HUGE BREAKTHROUGH is the fact that she stands at the back door and asks to go out to use the restroom!!!
Wow, you were allowed by customs to get the rabies shot that late??? In GA, we were asked by the official why she hadn't had it, and when I told them she was too young, she got put under house quarantine for 30 days after we had the shot administered, and they also opened a case against us for this .... I had to supply proof of rabies to the Health Officer of AL as well as to the CDC .... what really amazed me was how loosely the rule for a rabies shot is implemented .... we have neighbours up the road who have 40 or more cats running around on their property, and I bet you a $, not one of them has ever had a rabies shot ..... in fact animal control show up here every so often to pick up their hoarded animals ..... I actually feel like writing a letter to our Senator about this .... I have nothing against them implementing this type thing, but when it gets done, it needs to be done to EVERYONE ....

Tina actually from the lastest that I read on the Rabies Challeng Fund Website, they now recommend that you try and wait as close to 6 months as possible to give the rabies shot and to definitely not give it close to any other vaccines - the number of reported adverse vaccine reactions to the rabies decreases the later you give it.

My poor little Lilly went for her 14 wk DHPP shot and it has TOTALLY wiped her out ..... she isn't her normal happy self .... she has been lying in her little bed all day long, and it would seem the shot must have either have caught a nerve or muscle, cause she is limping on her left leg , as she was fine yesterday before the shot .... but this morning when she got up all this nonsense showed itself. I'm keeping her quiet and letting her sleep, and Rex has been forbade to play with her .... I feel so sorry for my poor little angel!!! She has picked up 1.8lbs between 8/18 and 8/24, and now weighs 32.8lbs ......

Well as it turns out, she had a reaction to the the Lepto she was given, because I presume that must have clashed with the rabies she was given 2 weeks ago. I rushed with her to the vet after I noticed her gumbs and tongue was white .... they have given her a steroid shot and a "benedryl" shot, and I have to give her benedryl tonight before bedtime ..... WHY OH WHY do these vets administer stuff when they know it invariably clashes and causes all kinds of other problems!!!!
